Detroit Free Press Half Marathon Training: Weeks 11, 12 & 13

Hey ya’ll, lets do a quick training recap.

Week 11

M – 60 min elliptical + core
T -5 x 400 @ 8:57 = 3.5 miles total; weights
W – Skip
Th – 2 mile run + weights
F – 20 min rowing + 60 min circuit class
Sa – Rest
Su – Rock to Road 10K Race (1:16:17)

Total miles: 11.7

Week 12

M – 30 min XT + weights
T – 1.5 mile run + weights
W – Skip
Th – AM: 30 min run (2.77 miles); PM: weights
F – 10.6 mile bike ride
Sa – Mud Hero Obstacle Run
Su – 7 mile run (1:27:50)

Week 13

M – Skip
T – 35 min XT + core + Pushups
W – Skip
Th – 3 mile run (32:38)
F – Skip
Sa – Skip
Su – Skip

Total miles: 3

As you can see things went a little crazy last week, but back at it this week! 6 miles yesterday and a 60 min weights class this morning. Here is to a better week 14 (of 20). Only 6 weeks left! Ahhhh
