Check out what I made today!!!
I’ll be back tomorrow with more to say.
Hey everybody! Hope your all doing well. Just thought I would pop in and say hi!
Workouts this week have been getting done. Was suppose to run 3 miles on Monday just ran one instead. This morning I did 50 minutes on the elliptical. I was planning to take a weights class tonight and then my mom text me and told me we were having lasagna for dinner, so I opted out of the workout.
Tomorrow I am planning to do a spin class after school and I’m very excited!!
My weight is still high because I continue to eat crap. I have also been busy ANC tired once I get home in the evenings. I was running behind and had my mom peel my grapefruit this morning on my way to school, along with drinking my coffee from my mug. And I was still late!!!
2 more days until the weekend!
Ahhh relaxing Sunday!!
This afternoon I headed to the gym for a workout. I wasn’t really feeling a workout, but I went anyways. My workout ended up being a joke. 10 minutes warm up on the bike and about 15-20 minutes of weights.
Let’s recap this week in a few areas…
Workouts went alright this week. I was crunched for time each day, but managed to drag my butt out of bed before 6am and get a workout in, well except for Wednesday. I am very happy with this. Also I ran a total of 6 miles this week, WOOOHOOOO. The last ran I did was exactly 1 month ago today, Feb. 24, so I was happy with this. It was hard, and I was slow but we all have to start somewhere again right?!
I think my clothes went well this week. My pants are all really tight right now, so as you can see flowy tops and cardigans are my friends until I make my pants fit again. Friday was my favourite. The colour of the shirt looks so good with my hair and I just LOVE that necklace!!
Eating & Weight
Eating this week did not go well. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all healthy, but it was the before and after dinner snacking that made the numbers on the scale jack up. I need to just really work on that. Sticking to 3 solid meals and 2 healthy snack. My weight is at an all time high right now and I am really getting frustrated with myself. Thankfully my Mom comes back from her vacation tomorrow and I am going to talk to her and get her to help me get back to healthy eating again. It is time for me to start talking about this struggle.
Some Encouragement & Reward
I have some money left over from my birthday and Christmas I am able to spend. So I was thinking that if I eat healthy, but balanced, this week – no crazy over eating, then I will take myself shopping this weekend. Get some more new spring clothes to wear teaching, some new shoes, necklaces, etc. to make me look and feel good. I find that when I know I look nice, I feel better about myself. So that is my challenge and reward for myself this week.
Well, I better get my booty to work!
This morning began as most mornings did this week, except Wednesday, with a workout! I started off on the treadmill, determined to get back into running. I ran 1 mile, walked .25 miles, and ran another mile. It wasn’t easy and I was very slow. Painful times running can bring. My leg is also still sore so that made the run fun as well.
Next I headed to the elliptical for 30 mins with Breakfast Television.
I headed home, with no time to get ready haha, but I jumped into the shower and get ready for the day. Today’s outfit was more simple. Navy pants, grey t-shirt, black cartigan, and a necklace the kids loved. Oh and my trusty TOMS! + an unflattering picture, haha.
Eating went really well until about 6:30 and then I messed up. Oh well move on, don’t it mess with your head.
I’m off to prepare for my interview, do dishes, read curriculum documents, and all that fun stuff. I am so excited tomorrow is Fridayy!!!
Happy 1st Day of Spring!!
Yesterday started like most days this week, with a 6am workout. I began my workout with a 1 mile run. I was planning for more, but it just didn’t happen.
My leg, the inside of my right calf, was really sore so I stopped after 1 mile. I was also starting to feel it. Wah taking time off of running is no joke. My speed was slow, 5.5–>5.8 mph and other than my leg it was pretty easy for the most part. I am going to see how my leg feels and just slowly increase my distance. Running 1 mile a day on off running days. Again, we will see.
Proceeding the 1 miler, hahaha, I jumped over to the elliptical for a 20 min session. I had planned to be on there longer, but ran out of time and needed to get home to wake my bother, shower, put on coffee, eat, and get ready. Rush, rush, rush.
We have a bigger mirror but I honestly don’t have time to take a picture in it. Navy blue pants are on the bottom.
Eats again last night were on the poor side, too many snacks. Today is a new day though, and I will do better!
Have a great Wednesday!! We are half way to the weekend!!
